Why we love it: Just in time for gifting season, Canadian luxury jewelry brand and retailer Birks has launched a collection of pieces honouring astrology.

“Birks’ collections are always inspired by nature, and we turned our attention skyward to the planets and stars as inspiration for this collection,” Katie Reusch, senior director of marketing and communications for Birks Group Inc., said in a news release. “We worked with our team of designers to create a stylized interpretation of each sign that was true to astrology, but also trendy and wearable.“

Available in both sterling silver and 18-karat gold, the two-sided pendant necklaces feature all 12 signs on the zodiac calendar: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.

With a pressed appearance similar to an ancient wax seal, the pendant necklaces are the perfect pieces to be worn alone or layered with other favourite neck adornments for a cool, customized look.
