Dex, the guy who got famous with his appearance on ‘Single’s Inferno’ season 2, is broadening his acting career. OSEN reported on January 12 that Dex is set to play the lead role in the U+ Mobile TV show Tarot. This is his second acting gig, and he’s also busy with another show called I Shopping.
When asked about this, a representative from Dex’s management said, “Dex is actively considering the opportunity to take on the lead role in the drama Tarot.” It is also being reported that Dex is getting offers for different kinds of projects, like TV dramas and movies.
Tarot is reportedly a mystery show with seven cool stories. The narrative unfolds as the main characters get special tarot cards, making things mysterious and suspenseful.
Dex is a popular YouTuber and streamer from South Korea. Before he became famous, he was a UDT member. He’s been on lots of different online and TV shows like YouTube’s Fake Men 2, Wave’s Bloody Game, MBC’s Around the World While I Was Born, and JTBC’s The Smiling Boss. He even joined the panel on Single’s Inferno season 3.
He won the Rookie Male Entertainer Award at the 2nd Blue Dragon Series Awards. At the 2023 MBC Entertainment Awards, he won MC and Rookie of the Year, making him one of the rising stars in the industry.
