One of the oddest things players can find in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is a set of new Tarot Cards. These new cards represent figures from the Minor Arcana and may give V some insight into the events and characters of Phantom Liberty. However, to find these cryptic clues and complete the Tomorrow Never Knows side quest, players must search in a few different spots across the Dogtown district.
V can collect Tarot Cards in the base game as part of the Fool on the Hill side quest in order to earn an achievement. However, those were clearly marked on V’s map of Night City, making them easy to find. In contrast, Phantom Liberty contains four new Tarot Cards, all of which are unmarked. You’ll need to keep an eye out when visiting the following locations during big story moments.
Spoilers for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty’s main story.
All Minor Arcana Tarot Card Locations In Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty
Minor Arcana Tarot Card #1: King Of Cups
The first Minor Arcana Tarot Card can be found outside Dogtown’s main gate on a small wall to the right of the entrance. This is roughly where the DLC starts, so players should make sure they’re well-prepared for Phantom Liberty before visiting.
Minor Arcana Tarot Card #2: King Of Pentacles
The second Minor Arcana Tarot Card is found on the wall just outside V’s Kress Street hideout. You’ll gain access to the area after rescuing President Myers and searching for a safehouse.
Minor Arcana Tarot Card #3: King Of Wands
The third Minor Arcana Tarot Card is found on the wall to the left of a Dogtown basketball court, at the location marked above. You’ll visit the area to meet Solomon Reed for the first time.
Minor Arcana Tarot Card #4: King Of Swords
The last Minor Arcana Tarot Card can be found in the back of an alleyway in the Longshore Stacks, at the location marked above. You’ll end up close to this Tarot Card after exiting the FIA safehouse for the first time.
What To Do With Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty’s Tarot Cards
After finding all four Tarot Cards, V can head over to Misty’s Esoterica in Little China to discuss them with her. Misty will explain what the symbols mean. Much like the cards in the base game, they offer some hints about Phantom Liberty’s new characters and the end of the DLC’s story.
However, the meaning of Cyberpunk’s Tarot Cards is rather cryptic; at best, players might be able to match a few characters and story beats to Misty’s descriptions of the symbols and their meanings. Ultimately, they’re designed to keep you guessing and hint about potential plot twists, endings, and character motivations.
It also appears that this knowledge is the only real reward V receives for finding and scanning the new Tarot Cards. Completing this particular quest doesn’t appear to grant V any special items or rewards. Cyberpunk 2077 players will have to decide whether it’s worth tracking down the Tarot Cards to hear Misty’s mystic insights.
